Messier 83 Bunble 9h CHI-1
The fantastic Messier 83, also known as the Southern Pinwheel Galaxy and NGC 5236, is a is a nearby face-on barred spiral galaxy located approximately 15 millions light-years away in the constellation borders of Hydra and Centaurus. It stretches over 40 000 light-years, making it roughly 2.5 times smaller than our own Milky Way.
I was surprised by the abundance and intensity of the Halpha regions without Ha filter exposures within the famous and exciting galaxy of a thousand rubies.
