Observing During Full Moon: the Running Chicken Nebula

In this video tutorial, Peter Jenkins walks us through the processing of IC2944, also known as the Running Chicken Nebula. Peter explores some of the advanced techniques to fix vignetting through Dynamic Background Extraction and bad columns through Cosmetic Correction. The images were acquired using narrow band filters (Halpha, SII, OIII) during full moon. It shows the great results you can still obtain during this moon phase, when observing is much cheaper.
