Cosmic Cliffs in NGC 3324, the edge of a gigantic, gaseous cavity within NGC 3324, the highest peaks in this image are about 7 light-years high. This cavity was carved into the nebula by intense ultraviolet radiation and extremely massive, hot, young stellar winds.
