About me
I retired from Arizona State University in May 2020. In August 2020 my wife and I were enjoying a glass of wine in the back yard when one of us looked at the sky and said "wouldn't it be nice to have a telescope!" I quickly ordered a Celestron Nexstar 8SE. We used it only for observing. In December 2020 my daughter took a photo of the moon through the eyepiece with her phone. I thought, "Oh my goodness! You can photograph what we're seeing!" After much research and many thousands of dollars later, I now have four telescopes, three astro cameras, and several mounts along with filters and accessories. What a wonderful hobby! I've spent countless hours learning about cameras, lenses, light, and the cosmos. I cannot think of a better way to spend one's retirement!
Sorry, no astrobin link. I use Telescopius. https://telescopius.com/profile/astrophotastic
