Interested in astronomy for years, mainly with respect to variable stars and their light curves. Had a 10 inch Schmidt Newtonian but over the years this became too heavy to move around so, when I recently retired, I sold it and decided to use online telescopes instead. I still continue my interest in variables (particularly T-Tauri and Herbig-Haro objects) but now I'm also trying to develop some skills in astrophotography. I'm a Mac user currently trying out Siril and GIMP.
