The November 2022 Contests are Here!
Today we are announcing the new contests for November 2022!

Here below you can find the definitions of the two contests. Remember to check the rules before taking part in these contests!
The One-Click Contest
The One-Click Observation for the November 2022 Contest is the SA 156 Dark Nebula obtained with CHI-6 in the LRGB filter set.
The Sandqvist 156, in the constellation of Chamaeleon, is a cloud of interstellar gas and dust that is sufficiently dense to obscure partially or entirely the light from stars and other objects lying behind it and enough large and suitably located to produce a noticeable effect.

To qualify for the contest, remember to tag the picture you upload with #OneClickContestNov22 and either #Expert or #Beginner (check this page to find out your skill level).
The winners of the best picture in the One-Click Contest will receive:
- 25 credits prize (value $38) in the Beginner tier
- 50 credits prize (value $76) in the Expert tier
The Bundle Contest
The Observation Bundle for the November 2022 Contest is the Helix Nebula. You can download the image in HSO or LRGB filters or you can do a combination of the two:
- HSO filter set. Obtained with CHI-1, it contains 27 One-Click Observations corresponding to more than 24 hours of total exposure time.
- LRGB filter set. Obtained with CHI-1, it contains 6 One-Click Observations corresponding to 2 hours of total exposure time.
The Helix Nebula (also known as NGC 7293 or Caldwell 63) is a planetary nebula (PN) located in the constellation Aquarius. The distance, measured by the Gaia mission, is 655±13 light-years.
