Beta Tester Reviews

The Telescope Live platform and website are very well thought out and organized.  Your team has done a magnificent job and I look forward to being a member for life.  Thank you for a wonderful experience! – (Richard Bair)

Honestly, it sound EXACTLY what I want - I usually try to acquire many one clicks of one or two targets to work on processing - this will make it much more straight forward buy getting a bundle...  (John Washington)

I'm definitely excited. I really like the idea of one-click bundles since I always miss data because i didn't book the observation. (Yovin Yahathugoda)

I am very excited to get more data, and I do believe being able to get specific targets will be very handy for people with favorite targets they want to get. - (David Farnham)

If you hadn’t have suggested it, I would have said that would be the way you’ve gone as the way I would have suggested to go.
You make use of the data you’ve already got. I get access to it. I get more discretion in terms of the targets I want.  If I want more data on an object, I can go back into the archive and get it. And I know that I’ve got future stuff coming in the future. I definitely think it’s moving in the right direction! (Philip Yates)

I like it more than I thought I would! (David Jacob)

I like this way, I like to see here they all are, and you can grab them right now, without wondering, ok, am I going to get it in sic hours or eight hours? Whatever. I think that’s great! While I don’t mind waiting, after 8 hours you wait, then you go back and you are like… oh it’s not there! (Andy Palmer)

I like the new platform more than the old one. No wate of time waiting for an acquisition… what you want you get! And if you think how much it’d cost you in terms of time a sacrifice, the amount of swearing when a cloud passes by or because the seeing is terrible… The prices are very good! (Alf 70)

The costs are very reasonable, flexibility has improved. I really like the One-Click search options and the new One-Click bundles! The One-Click search and bundle options will allow me to obtain enough data for nice deep images.  I also like the fact that my monthly fee will go toward my advanced requests, which is the reason I joined TL in the first place (John Ebersole)

It did not take long for me to calculate that TL 3 is actually a better deal financially! (David Miahlic)

I think the new platform will improve my overall experience as you can see what has been observed and grab it. You don’t have to wait for observations to complete or get the dreaded “recalculating”. And you get access to all previous observations. You can see what was observed and then choose to buy it or now. I also really like the Observation Bundle idea. (Paul Puntin)

I really like the new platform and I feel the improvements were both needed and have improved the platform’s usefulness in a number of way. You are guaranteeing that you’re going to be able to get observations, as opposed to now where you’re not certain you’re going to get them or not, and you pay regardless. While I will likely spend more money than before, it will likely be worth it! (Terry Snapp)

It is easier to use and the results is much better. And the bundles are perfect. So many images, more than in datasets, will produce a nice pic. Thank you for your explanations and the goals of telescope live. I am very satisfied with your offers, the pictures and the tutorials and I am sure that the new version 3.0 will be a great success. (Bernd Doerfeldt)

I think people will be happier with less uncertainty and more reliability getting images. Very excited, sounds like a positive change that was carefully considered. It seems like it could significantly improve the user experience and make better use of the resources Telescope Live has available. (Joey Taylor)

It’s actually kind of funny. You have folks with huge amounts of knowledge lighting up Facebook with articles about nuances to processing and image capture, and I’m kinda of at the level of “why is my picture of Jupiter green and blurry?” (that’s not actually your data, it’s mine from my telescope at home). But that’s better than I was not that long ago, when I couldn’t even get Jupiter into the picture. And then I log onto Telescope Live and have all this awesome data that’s just waiting to be processed. What a great problem to have!! You guys are doing a great job. The current platform is great, and I look forward to seeing what surprises you have for us over the next days. (Ron Grafron)
