Here is a redo of an advanced request I had done last year on SPA-2-CMOS. I used different and much better processing techniques for this.

One more clue for the SPA-2 stuff. Download your sets as uncalibrated, then download the calibration files and make your own master calibration files. It makes an absolutely massive difference.

Hints on the process?
On this one I saved it with the lowest auto stretch in APP as a 16 bit tiff, then brought it into Photoshop, cloned it, then use StarXterminator on the cloned image, stretched and processed it out, then pasted it back as a screen layer over the original, then did some minor tweaks to make it how I like it, but the key is the processing it starless.
