Hi Dev,
This is one of the best pictures I've seen of this amazing area. A pleasing choice of colour with the nebulae clearly visible.
I think this may be down to the optimal suppression of the stars you did, not masking out any of the structure. Not yet having tackled this one I'll certainly use this as a reference when I eventually do.
