Excellent, Jarmo! I've tried this set as well but I somehow managed to blow up the details, so I didn't even posted it. Yours is flawless, congratulations - very well deserved Image of the Week. Good luck for the contest!

Thanks! I had to pull down the histogram quite a lot after initial processing and then use tools like HDRMultiscaleTransform and LocalHistogramEqualization in Pixinsight to get details visible. Maybe I should have done a bit more work on details but fine tuning is almost an endless process.

Superb work again! The deal in AP is also knowing when to stop in order to get the best results and you certainly achieved that. In this sense Astrophotography as a discipline is very close to fine arts. It is also what I like the most about it. The balance between technical and aesthetic sensitivity.
