The Large Magellanic Cloud is one of our own Milkyway’s satellite galaxies orbiting it 157 thousand lightyears away from us.
It’s home to large and small nebulea and an amazing sight to see in the sky. The large Tarantula nebula can even be seen with the naked eye.
The data consists of LRGB data captured by Telescope.Live using the One-Click Observations and processed by Rune Matthijssens (me) in Affinty.
The luminance data is the red, blue, green, visible data all stacked in a black and white image resulting in an exposure time of 4 hours and 40 minutes!
