M16 - Eagle Nebula
M16 - Eagle Nebula
Hubble palette image (SHO) of the Eagle Nebula, M16.
The Eagle Nebula in the constellation of Serpens, consists of an open star cluster and many emission and dark nebulae, including the famous "Pillars of Creation".
Wanted to assess the possibility to use rather short exposures in binning 2 mode with narrow band filters: works fine!
Total exposure 75 minutes: 5 subs of 300s with each of the SHO-filters (with binning 2)
