M31 - The Andromeda Galaxy
M31 - The Andromeda Galaxy
Got 20 credits from the signup-bonus, and an additional 20 credits for using a code provided by Antoine Grelin from Galactic Hunter.
That gave me 7x 45s exposures (little over 5 minutes in total) in LRGB of Andromeda. Never stacked and processed multiple channels before, so this was a new experience for me.
I struggled making the downloaded calibration-frames work, so this is only stacked light-frames. The image is stacked in Astro Pixel Processor, channels combined in Photoshop. Slight level-adjustments and some minor warming of M31 and M32.
The image is flipped 180 degrees, just because I think Andromeda looks better that way.
