NGC2070 Tarantula Nebula
The Tarantula Nebula has an apparent magnitude of 8. and is about 160,000 light-years from earth. It is an extremely bright non-stellar object, so bright that if it were as close to Earth as the Orion Nebula it would cast visible shadows.
