NGC 1365 is a barred spiral galaxy located in Fornax constellation. It has an apparent visual magnitude of 10.3 and is approximately 56.2 million light years distant from the Sun. The giant Seyfert-type galaxy is also known as the Great Barred Spiral Galaxy.
