Abell 85 Supernova Remnant in Cassiopeia
Abell 85 is a faint bubble like supernova remnant in the constellation of Cassiopeia. The supernova is dated to approximately 10,000 years and is thought to be approximately 9780 light years distant. the expanding bubble like remnant is roughly 98 light years in diameter. This image is presented in a HSO palette.
