Chamaeleon complex: Cha I
The Chamaeleon I dark cloud (Cha I) is part of the Chamaeleon complex, a large star forming region in the constellation Chamaeleon.
Cha I is one of the nearest active star formation regions at ~520 light years from Earth.
This image is acquired with AUS-2 (Takahashi FSQ-106ED) , data from 6 one clicks (Be 142 data).
Total exposure 480 minutes.
12 subs of 600s with each filter (LRGB).
