The Cobra and the Mouse
NGC 2442 and NGC 2443 are two parts of a spiral galaxy in the constellation Volans. It's also known as the Meathook Galaxy. Its shape resembles a cobra hunting a mouse that appears to be the PGC21457 galaxy. This photo is my another attempt to process this object with more data than a year ago, and using new tools like the BlurXterminator
