144P/Kushida is a periodic comet in the Jovian comet family. Its characteristic is to have very small MOIDs with the planets Mars and Jupiter, the one with Jupiter is currently 0.00986 AU, the one with Mars will lead it to pass on May 18, 2119 only 0.056 AU from the latter planet.
The MOID with Jupiter will cause the comet to undergo a drastic change in orbit in the future.
