Crescent Nebula in HOO - Cameron Caldwell
Crescent Nebula! The data is from Telescope.live SPA-3 Takahashi FSQ-106EDX4 (106 mm) F3.6 telescope, situated in IC Astronomy Observatory, Spain. It is equipped with a set of Astrodon filters in a bortle 2 location. Total exposure time is 5h, shot in HSO with PixelMath HOO combination for final colors in image.
My goal here was to bring out alot of Halpha in the surrounding region while still preserving the faint oxygen blues around the nebula itself and it went pretty well for the most part. I somehow messed up the star Sadr but no biggie for now.
Stacked in DSS, processed in Pixinsight, Siril, Photoshop. Data is not mine I just processed it grin
