Crescent Nebula NGC 6888 SHO
Lying about 5,000 light-years from Earth is an emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus known as the Crescent Nebula. It's tucked into a sea of nebulosity around 2 degrees from the bright star Sadr (upper left). The Crescent Nebula is formed by the fast stellar wind from the Wolf-Rayet star WR 136 running into and energizing slower moving stellar winds from the star when it became a red giant 1/4 to 1/2 a million years ago.
Hope ya like it!
