Deneb
Deneb
Deneb (Alpha Cygni)
The Blue Supergiant Star Deneb is part of the famous "summer triangle" found in the constellation Cygnus, the swan. This prominent asterism consists of Altair, Deneb and Vega and can be found high in the east in the northern hemisphere during the months of July and August. Many prominent objects reside here like NGC7000 - North America Nebula or the Sadr region and its companion the Crescent Nebula, making it a popular location to image amongst amateur astrophotographers.
Here I have combined both LRGB and Ha data together from telescope.live to form this HaRGB image. This allows me to bring the Pelican nebula (seen in the lower right corner) forward whilst still retaining the gorgeous blue light from Deneb as well as natural color stars in the background.
