Fighting Dragons of Ara Meet Foraxx
Spanning over 150 light years and created from the turbulence of super novae and young stars, this majestic emission nebula is located 4,000ly from earth in the southern constellation of Ara. Below the fighting dragons is the emission nebula NGC 6164 illuminated by a massive O-type star. This image was made from over 22 hours of remote data from Heaven's Mirror observatory in Australia.
