The Flaming Star Nebula (IC 405)
This is a SHO image of IC 405, also known commonly as the Flaming Star Nebula. I shot this over the course of one evening. This is a combination of 40 subs of Ha, 20 of Oiii, and 30 of Sii (5 minutes per sub). I also shot RGB stars to blend in later. I was surprised by how much Oii came out here from the data. I've shot this section of the sky a few times with a OSC camera with a dual narrowband filter but never resolved the subtle blue hues present here in the 0iii band.
