Galactic Rendezvous
Strong tidal gravitational forces between this irregular dwarf galaxy, the Large Magellanic Cloud, and our own galaxy, the Milky Way, squish, stretch, bend and squash space-time, compressing and deforming gas and dust, and thus creating newborn stars, some of them incredibly massive.
