GUM 15
GUM 15 - A cloudy stellar nursery. This not so well known object is located in the constellation of Vela , some 3000 light-years from Earth. An awe inspiring HII region glowing with stellar energy, GUM 15 resembles another, although more well known nebula - the Trifid Nebula (M20).
