IC 2169

IC 2169 is a beautiful reflection nebula located approximately 1,500 light-years away in the constellation of Orion. This nebula is illuminated by the variable star T Orionis, which is embedded within the nebula's wispy tendrils of gas and dust.

As T Orionis fluctuates in brightness, the nebula's appearance also changes. When the star is at its brightest, IC 2169 glows in a blue hue, while it takes on a more subdued appearance when T Orionis dims. Capturing this nebula at different times can yield different results.
