KEMBLE'S CASCADE

Kemble's Cascade is an asterism, not a constellation, located in the northern sky in the constellation Camelopardalis. It appears as a faint, but relatively straight line of stars numbering over 20, ranging from 5th to 10th magnitude, which means they are too faint to be seen with the naked eye.
The total length of the cascade stretches over 3 degrees, which is about five times the width of the full moon. The stars themselves are mostly white and appear to cascade down from the open cluster NGC 1502, located at one end of the stream.
While not officially recognized by astronomers, Kemble's Cascade is a beloved sight for amateur astronomers who enjoy exploring the night sky with binoculars or small telescopes.
