Captured using a Skywatcher 150PDS and Altair Hypercam 26C Pro TEC. Getting the hang of acquiring higher quality data. It is great to have telescope live to try out targets and for when the clouds roll in, as they often do in the UK.

The Leo triplet

From one click observation the Leo triplet is a group of galaxies in the constellation of Leo. Also known as the M66 Group it is a small group of galaxies about 35 million light-years away. This galaxy group consists of the spiral galaxies M65, M66, and NGC 3628. This was a challenge due to the number of satellite trails and considerable lack of contrast after stacking!
