M 8 hybrid Mosaic
M 8 hybrid Mosaic
This is a photo of a narrowband image of Messier 8. This photo is a hybrid mosaic, specifically in the core. For the core, the system that was used was a Planewave CDK24 and a QHY 600M Pro. For the integration time of the core, was around a total exposure time of 6 hours, photographed back in April of last year.
The overall Wide field shot, was photographed on a ASA 500N and a FLI PL 16803 and the total exposure time was 1 and a half hours, photographed back in May of 2022. To create the hybrid mosaic I used alignment by coordinates script in Pixinsight.
The way I achieved the blue and pink colors is by using the Oiii Sii and Ha narrowband combination.
