M104 Sombrero Galaxy
M104 Sombrero Galaxy
Messier Object 104 (aka NGC 4594) is a fun-looking galaxy, named after the Spanish word for "hat." It is 28 million light-years away, located in Virgo.
Imaging M104 can be challenging with smaller scopes - a focal length of 2,800 mm is a good starting point. The Planewave CDK24 (CHI-1-CMOS), with its 3,962 mm FL and 610 mm aperture, is the perfect tool to get the job done.
