M77, a.k.a NGC 1068 or the Squid Galaxy, a barred spiral galaxy of class (R)SA(rs)b ~47 million light-years away in Cetus. Originally cataloged as a star cluster by Messier and Herschel, it is one of the biggest galaxies in that catalog.
