Messier 41 The Little Beehive Cluster CHI-1 2h40

Messier 41, or NGC 2287, is an open cluster located about 2300 light-years away in Canis Major and is sometimes referred to as The Little Beehive Cluster.
With a diameter of 25 light-years, the cluster covers an area about the size of the full Moon, and it is estimated to be 190 million years old.
ts properties and dynamics suggest a total life expectancy of 500 million years before it will have disintegrated.

Definitely one of my favourites one, at this long focal lenght which suits it very nicely!
