MESSIER 78
MESSIER 78
Here’s my latest image: Messier 78, a breathtaking reflection nebula in the constellation Orion. The blue hues come from starlight reflecting off cosmic dust, beautifully complemented by stunning dust lanes—dark streaks that weave through the glowing blue. It’s like a piece of cosmic art, full of striking contrast and intricate details of a star-forming region.
It’s been a year since I last processed a deep-sky image. Teaching has turned out to be more demanding than I ever anticipated, but with the school holidays finally here, I’ve had the chance to return to astronomy!
