NGC 1499 a.k.a California Nebula
Emission nebula energized by star Xi Persie a.k.a Menkib brightest one closest to the nebula
in the constellation of Perseus ~1000 ly away. Menkib is a blue giant O7 class star ~12700 times brighter than the sun.
Didn't know what the weird magenta object was in the top right section of the image while processing,
didn't seem like a star. Turned out to be the planetary nebula IC2003 after running image solving and annotation.
HSO 10h10' (61x600s) observation bundle from SPA-1 telescope, part of telescope.live network.
Taken on 13,16,21 Aug 09 Sep 04,08,16 Oct 07,08,12,15 Nov 2021 and 18,19,20 Jan 2022.
Processed in PixInsight. Initial integration with AutoIntegrate.js.
