Part of the Orion B molecular cloud, which is about 1,370 light years (420 parsecs) from Earth. It contains several star-forming regions, with the star cluster within the Flame Nebula being the largest.

Flame Nebula (NGC 2024)
Nebula IC 434, which contains the Horsehead Nebula.
Horsehead Nebula (Barnard 33)
Nebula NGC 2023 is an emission and reflection nebula.
