NGC 2264 in LRGB

The designation in the New General Catalogue identifies two astronomical objects: the Cone Nebula and the Christmas Tree Cluster. The ASA 500N telescope with the FLI PL16803 CCD camera and its 65x65 arcseconds field of view seems the perfect match for objects of this size. This image results from only 14 frames with a total exposure of 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Nice field of view for this object and you have done a good job with the processing. I tried to find this data set with no luck. I did find one set with 13 images from CHI-4 but it only had a single blue frame in it. Could you share a link to the One-click observation for this data?

Thank you, Craig. I believe it's the same set you have found. I downloaded it when it was a Pro-Dataset, and it had 14 images at that time. One of the blue frames must have been rejected when all Pro-Datasets were converted to One-Click observations. Each bright start has a short vertical line on top, as from a sudden shake. I managed to remove them with outliers rejection. You can try with the single blue frame. I inspected it, and there are no satellite trails on it. Cosmic rays can be problematic, though. Adam Block published a free video on his youtube channel on removing color blips. That way, I removed some of the most distracting ones.

Marek, thanks for the confirmation on the data set here at Telescope.live. Also, thanks for the Adam Block video hint; that will definitely come in handy for future processing. Now I just have to decide if this "older" data set with a single blue exposure is worth processing or wait until a new higher magnification set is produced with one of their newer CMOS cameras. Thanks again.
