NGC 346
NGC 346
NGC 346, a relatively young open cluster of stars and an associated emission nebula, ~210K ly away and 200 ly across in the constellation of Tucana. Situated in Small Magellanic Cloud. The cluster is home to many massive OB and O type stars and is still engaged in high-mass star formation, with members as young as two million years.
