NGC 6559
NGC 6559
My first Telescope Live pro-data processing.
I've chosen this beautiful field since it offers some interesting subjects in the same frame: NGC 6559, a star-forming region located at a distance of about 5000 light-years from Earth, in the constellation of Sagittarius, showing both emission (red) and reflection (bluish) regions. IC 1274 and IC 1275, both gaseous nebula, the first lying on the near-surface of the Lynds 227 (L227) molecular cloud. IC 4685 star that lies in the central area of the complex emission/reflection region, illuminating its surrounding area. IC 4684, a smaller emission nebula on the left side of the image.
