NGC 6769 + 70 + 71

NGC 6769 (ESO 141-48, PGC 63042, VV 304a and others) is the spiral on the right of the interacting pair.

NGC 6770 (ESO 141-49, PGC 63048, VV 304b and others) is the spiral on the left of the interacting pair. Along with NGC 6769, these are located approximately 175 million light-years away in Pavo.

NGC 6771 (ESO 141-50, PGC 63049 and others) is a giant elliptical below NGC 6769 and 71. This one is located approximately 195 million light-years away.

IC 4845 (ESO 141-54, PGC 63081 and others) is the odd spiral at the top left.

400 minutes total exposure – 6 hours 40 minutes

Imaged over eight nights in August and September, 2022 at the El Sauce Observatory (Rio Hurtado, Chile) with a FLI PL 9000 on a PlaneWave CDK24 at f/6.5 3974 mm.
