NGC3370, Eta Carina Nebula Center SHO
the Nebula is a great HII-region in a distance of nearly 8200 ly from Earth. It contains separate objects with extra catalog names. The french astronomer N.L. de Lacaille discovered thr nebula in 1751 from South Africa.
