NGC5128 - Centaurus A
NGC5128 is a wonderful galaxy, with an intriguing shape and texture, located in the constellation of Centaurus, some 10 million light-years away from us. Its supermassive black hole is responsible for two astonishing relativistic jets emitted in the X-rays and Radio wavelength, along a direction orthogonal to the galaxy plane. Unfortunately, they cannot be seen in a picture taken in the visible spectrum, such as this one.
