NGC7000
NGC7000
A widefield image of the North America, Pelican, and neighboring nebulae in a classic HST palette. Today is my 79th birthday. I am an old astro-photographer, who has been imaging for 48 years, who uses old processing software, that still delivers a pleasingly aesthetic array of color and detail. Enjoy!

Well, that is editing at best...
Thanks, Dincer. I enjoy your work as well.
Congratulations on the completion of another orbit of the sun Dr Ebersole. In terms of numbers of those I'm not that far behind, however, when it comes to astrophotography I'm a long way off.
Coincidentally today I've just been rereading your really helpful article on "Narrowband Imaging - What is it all about". Highly recommended to anyone, not just those relatively new to narrowband. The link you give to Richard Crisp is a great source of additional information too.
Hope you have a great day and good luck with the competition.

Thanks, Ray, for the best wishes and nice comments. These days every solar orbit is a big deal.
