North America Nebula NGC 7000
The North America Nebula (NGC 7000) was discovered by William Herschel in October 1786. It was first photographed by Max Wolf in December 1890. It is a large emission nebula located in the constellation Cygnus at an approximate distance of 1,600 light years from Earth.
