Deep from rom the TL archives. This image is based on data captured by SPA-1-CCD in 2021. Polaris is such a big part of astronomy yet not everyone knows about the faint integrated flux nebula (IFN) that surrounds it, requiring a very dark location to pick up the details. The IFN is actually the diffuse gas and dust clouds that permeate the Milky Way Galaxy.
