RCW38

RCW 38 is a young, massive star-forming region located about 5,500 light-years away in the constellation Vela. It is a dense, luminous nebula filled with hot, newly formed stars, intense ultraviolet radiation, and powerful stellar winds. The region is often studied as an analogue to more distant star-forming galaxies and provides insight into the early stages of massive star formation.

For this image, an HOO palette was used, and the Sii data was colorized and blended in afterwards.
