Rho Ophiuchi
Rho Ophiuchi
Process of telescope data obtained from Telescope Live.
I attempted to image this object recently, but from my home in Scotland, it is too low on the horizon to grab more than a few minutes due to trees and telegraph wires at its max elevation of 12 degrees.
Consequently I decided to use my trial credits with Telescope live to produce an image.
This is 7hrs of RGB data obtained from a Takahashi FSQ-106ED (with reducer) telescope based in Australia.
The data quality was not perfect with three white vertical lines across all the subs in the same position on all frames on the same filters.
These were not removed by integration and instead were edited out in photoshop.
