Hi Irving,
I hope you don't mind me commenting on this, but the black rings around the stars, often referred to as 'panda eyes', appear to me at least to be having a negative impact on the overall image, Did you notice at what stage in processing this happened, maybe after putting back the stars after shrinking them?
A brief look on the 'Cloudynights.com' forum suggests removing the stars only after having done a slight stretch when I imagine the circles vacated by the stars may be much smaller. Incidentally some users prefer to use an app called Starnet (version 2 is the latest) to remove stars at that early stage. After completing the stretch of the starless image and carrying out further processing, then when the smaller stars are put back hopefully they will not leave those panda eyes.
How you go about doing varying degrees of stretching in Affinity photo I'm afraid I don't know, but appears to be one solution.
Cheers and CS, Ray
