Southern dark clouds
A portion of molecular dust clouds in chameleon cataloged by Aa. Sanqvist in 1977 [1]. These clouds form a system inclined to the galactic plane like Gould's Belt.
LRGB 1h 20m (2x4x600s) from CHI-6 an Officina Stellare RH200 20-cm F3 reflector with Astro-Physics 1200GTO mount, FLI ML 16200 camera, and Astrodon LRGB 2GEN filters. Situated in the Rio Hurtado valley, Chile. Part of telescope.live telescope network. Taken on 07 Jan 2022.
Processed in PixInsight. Name, location, and angular sizes for the annotated image pulled from the "More Southern Dark Clouds"[1] paper. The SIMBAD database didn't seem to have angular sizes for all of them.
