Sun long filament by Mark Johnston. Processed entirely with PixInsight. Not as nice as with solar imaging software, but not bad. Great starting data made this an easy image to process.

Nice image - I'm working on my first attempt at solar data and would love to know how you use PixInsight for this.
Just the usual: change to RGB and then use curves to add color and adjust contrast of color image. HDRMT and local histogram to get a bit more detail. I did NOT use the new PI script: Image Enhancement of the Sun, Moon and Planets by Benny Sundstrom, but it looks really powerful and I plan to play with it.
